What it is
A creamy fudge with a strawberry and cheesecake flavour, often with a biscuit layer and a white chocolate coating.
Taste
Where it comes from
Cheesecake goes back to ancient Greece, where a form of it was reportedly served to athletes at the early Olympic Games. The modern British version with a biscuit base and a cream cheese filling is American in origin and arrived here properly in the later twentieth century.
What it's made of
A strawberry fudge made on a soya drink base, on a wholemeal wheat and oat biscuit crumb, with white and dark chocolate flavour coatings. The biscuit and the white coating contain milk.
