Taste

Where it comes from
Floral flavours were common in Victorian and Edwardian confectionery, when rose and violet were used in everything from creams to pastilles, reflecting a taste that has almost entirely disappeared from modern British food. Floral gums and Parma Violets are the last widely sold survivors.
What it's made of
Modified potato starch, glucose syrup, sugar and beef gelatine with floral flavourings, coloured with anthocyanins, carmines, curcumin and chlorophyll.
