Where it comes from
Kinder Bueno was launched by Ferrero in 1990 and became one of the best selling chocolate bars in Europe. Ferrero built its entire business on hazelnuts, and buys a significant share of the world's crop each year, which is why hazelnut is so dominant in European confectionery.
What it's made of
A condensed milk fudge with a hazelnut style flavouring, finished with white and dark chocolate flavour coatings. The hazelnut is a flavouring, not the nut.
