What it is
A foam mushroom sweet with a pink cap and white stem, light and sweet with a mild vanilla and strawberry flavour.
Taste
Where it comes from
The toadstool is a fairy tale shape rather than a botanical one, and it appears across European confectionery for exactly that reason. The red and white fly agaric is the mushroom of illustrations and stories, which is why it became a sweet.
What it's made of
Sugar, glucose syrup and water with pork gelatine, citric acid, black carrot concentrate, coconut oil and a carnauba wax glaze.
