A dark chewy blackcurrant rope with a fondant centre, deep flavoured and sweet.
Taste

Where it comes from
Blackcurrant is a distinctly British flavour, grown here in enormous quantity during the Second World War when citrus could not be imported. Putting it into a southern European format is a good example of how manufacturers tailor products to national taste.
What it's made of
Glucose fructose syrup, sugar and wheat flour with dextrose, palm oil, citric acid, sorbitol, apple juice concentrate and blackcurrant flavouring, coloured with E129, E133 and E171.
