Where it comes from
American sour chews of this type are made by cold panning, the same method used for Lemonheads, which builds a shell around a soft centre without heat. The technique has been used by American manufacturers since the early twentieth century.
What it's made of
Corn syrup, sugar and dextrose with modified corn starch, malic and citric acid, panned and polished with carnauba wax, beeswax and confectioner's glaze.
