Where it comes from
Coffee flavoured confectionery is older than most people think, going back to coffee creams in Victorian boxed assortments. The cappuccino version is modern, following Britain's coffee shop boom from the 1990s onwards, which changed how the country talks about coffee entirely.
What it's made of
A fudge made on a soya drink base with sugar, glucose and hydrogenated palm kernel oil, with coffee and clotted cream flavourings.
