Taste

Where it comes from
Lotus Biscoff was created in Belgium in 1932 and became famous as the biscuit served with coffee on aeroplanes, which is how most of the world first tasted it. The spread launched in 2007 after a Belgian television competition, and the flavour has since become one of the biggest in dessert confectionery.
What it's made of
A fudge made on a soya drink base with caramelised biscuit pieces made from wheat flour, sugar syrup and cinnamon, folded through before setting. No milk in the recipe.
