Toffee Eclairs are the selection box version of an eclair. Every one is the same chewy caramel toffee shell, made on condensed milk and butter, but the centre changes from sweet to sweet: some are milk chocolate, some are dark chocolate at 70% cocoa solids, and some are white. You don't know which until you bite.
The chocolate centres are real chocolate, not a flavoured paste, and the dark one in particular has a proper bitter edge against the sweet caramel.
They're the sweet for a jar on the desk or a tin at Christmas. Add Milk Chocolate Eclairs if you want more of the milk ones, Creamy Toffee for the plain version, and Salted Caramel Toffee for the one the grown ups fight over.
