Pint Pots are the sweet you buy for someone's dad. A small jelly pint glass, amber body, white foam top, with a sweet caramel flavour that's meant to nod at beer without tasting like it. The chew is firm and satisfying, closer to a wine gum than a soft gummy, and they last a while.
The amber colour comes from plain caramel, and the set is a gelatine and pectin mix, which is why the bite is cleaner than a standard jelly. There is no beer, no alcohol and no hops anywhere near the recipe, so they're fine for kids, they just make adults laugh more.
They belong in a retro bag with Fried Eggs, Milk Bottles and Cola Bottles, and they're a proper Father's Day filler. Also good in a desk drawer for the Friday feeling.
