Chips, but sweet, sour and fizzy. Fizzy Chips are short, chunky gummy sticks shaped like a chip, in yellows, oranges and greens, with a soft chew and a sour fizzy sugar coat that sparks on your tongue. The flavours are mixed fruit.
Made by Kingsway, and the colours are curcumin, paprika extract and black carrot with a touch of blue, which is why the greens and oranges look slightly softer than a standard artificial gummy. The chew is medium, enough to be satisfying without being work.
They're the joke that keeps landing. Serve them with Fish 'n' Chips for the full chippy tea, or go bigger with Jumbo Fizzy Chips, which are twice the size. Fizzy Worms round out a sour novelty bag. Good in a party bag, better on a movie night.
