Mint and toffee sounds like a mistake until you try it. Mint Toffee is a soft, chewy toffee made on 22% sweetened condensed milk, so it's rich and rounded, and then a clean natural peppermint comes through at the end and cuts straight through the butteriness.
It's one of the Walker's Nonsuch classics, twist wrapped in the same paper they've used for years, and the mint is a natural flavouring rather than a synthetic one, so it tastes like peppermint and not like toothpaste.
Put it with Creamy Toffee and Liquorice Toffee for a traditional wrapped selection, or next to Everton Mints if you want two versions of the mint and toffee idea side by side. It's also a good one for after dinner, when you want a sweet that tidies up.
