Sour, fizzy, crunchy: pick three. Fizzy Sour Crunchies are sour raspberry chews that have been freeze dried into brittle little bites that crackle when you bite them and fizz as they melt. The raspberry is sweet underneath, the sour is the sweet shop kind rather than the extreme kind, and the fizz lasts longer than you'd expect.
Freeze drying freezes the chews and pulls the water out under vacuum, so the structure puffs up with air and the flavour concentrates. Because there's no heat involved, the fizz survives intact. Coloured with anthocyanins and curcumin, which come from fruit and turmeric.
Pair with Extreme Sour Raspberry Crunch if you want the harder version, Dipper Pads for a retro fizzy bag, or Lemon Sherbet Blasts for a citrus contrast.
