What it is
A gummy heart made of three coloured layers, so it changes flavour as you bite through it.
Taste
Where it comes from
Layered gummies are made by depositing each colour in sequence into the same mould, a technique that became standard in the 1990s. Three layers is about the practical limit before the deposit time gets too long and the first layer skins over.
What it's made of
Glucose syrup, sugar and corn starch with pork and beef gelatine, citric and lactic acid and pectin, coloured with blackcurrant and carrot concentrates.
