What it is
A soft, whipped salt water taffy that pairs a toasty peanut butter flavour with a sweet berry jelly note in one chew. Strange on paper, and the one everybody asks about.
Taste

Where it comes from
Salt water taffy is an American seaside sweet, first sold on the boardwalk at Atlantic City in the 1880s. Taffy Town has made it in Salt Lake City, Utah since 1917. Peanut butter and jelly is the American school lunch standard, and the taffy borrows the flavour rather than the sandwich.
What it's made of
Corn syrup, sugar and coconut oil with sea salt, egg whites and evaporated milk, whipped until airy, with malic acid, flavouring and the colours E133, E129 and E102. The flavour is peanut butter, so there is no actual peanut in the recipe.
