What it is
A classic gummy bear made with sweeteners instead of sugar. Slightly firmer and slightly less sweet than the original, but close enough that most people do not notice.
Taste

Where it comes from
Sugar free confectionery grew out of the diabetic sweet market of the twentieth century, where sorbitol and maltitol replaced sugar. Modern versions use steviol glycosides alongside maltitol, which gives a cleaner taste and lets the sweetness be dialled in more precisely.
What it's made of
Maltitol syrup and steviol glycosides with water and pork gelatine, flavoured with fruit and plant concentrates, moulded and glazed.
