Where it comes from
The pink and white mouse pairing is a British sweet shop tradition, and the colours have no flavour difference at all, they are the same coating with a colour added. Selling them mixed doubles the visual appeal at no extra cost, which is exactly why it was done.
What it's made of
A white compound coating of sugar, vegetable fat, whey powder and wheat flour, half of it coloured pink with carmine, moulded and set.
