Tiny crunchy sugar crystals in strawberry only, sharp and sweet, eaten by tipping the box.

Where it comes from
Nerds launched in 1983 with two flavours in one box, split down the middle, which was the original gimmick. Single flavour boxes came later and allow a much stronger flavour loading than a split box does.
What it's made of
Dextrose and sugar grown in layers around a tiny core with malic acid, flavourings and carnauba wax, producing irregular crunchy crystals.

Dextrose, Sugar, Malic Acid, and Less Than 2% of Corn Syrup, Natural Flavors, Carnauba Wax, Color Added, Carmine (E120) Color, Brilliant Blue (E133), Indigo Carmine (E132), Allura Red (E129). May contain <strong>EGG</strong>. E129 may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children.
