A hard rectangular cola flavoured sweet, dark red brown, that lasts a long time and stains nothing. Strong cola flavour and a proper old fashioned chew of a suck.

Where it comes from
Kola bricks are a traditional British boiled sweet, made in blocks rather than moulded shapes because it was quicker, the sheet is simply scored and broken. Cola flavour came into confectionery in the early twentieth century after the drink became popular, and British sweet makers gave it the brick shape that penny shops sold by weight.
What it's made of
Sugar, glucose syrup and citric acid boiled hard with a cola flavour blend, coloured with beetroot red in modern versions, rolled into a sheet and cut.
