Where it comes from
The soda fountain was an American institution from the nineteenth century to the 1950s, where pharmacists sold carbonated drinks alongside medicines. The flavours in this mix are a direct inheritance from that era, which is why several of them taste medicinal to British palates.

Starch jelly centres flavoured with soda blends, panned with sugar, coloured and polished, with some containing caffeine.
