What it is
A deep purple jelly bean with a strong sweet grape flavour that British customers find unfamiliar and American customers find completely normal.
Taste

Where it comes from
American grape flavour is built around the Concord grape, a North American variety with a distinctive musky note that European wine grapes do not have. Almost every purple sweet in America tastes of it, and almost none in Europe do, which is why the flavour reads as foreign here.
What it's made of
A starch jelly centre flavoured with grape juice concentrate and flavourings, panned with sugar and glazed.
