What it is
A little foil cup of smooth chocolate flavour candy with a hint of hazelnut that melts on the tongue and leaves a cool freshness behind. There is no mint in it; the chill is a trick of the fat.

Where it comes from
Icy Cups started in Germany, where foil cup chocolates are an old confectionery format, and crossed to Britain as a pocket money sweet in the 1970s and 1980s. Hannah's makes the version in British sweet shops today.
