Icy Cups are the sweet that feels cold without being cold. Each one is a little foil cup of smooth chocolate flavour candy with a hint of hazelnut, and the moment it hits your tongue it melts away and leaves a cool freshness behind. There's no mint in them. It's the coconut fat that does it, melting just below body temperature so your mouth reads it as chilled.
They started life in Germany and found their way onto British sweet shop counters, where they became the pocket money sweet nobody could eat just one of. Peel back the foil, pop the cup out whole and try to make it last. Nobody ever does.
They pair with Chocolate Coins for a foil wrapped bag, with Chocolate Frogs and Hannah's Chocolate Animals for a party bag, or with Chocolate Drops when only chocolate will do. A good stocking filler and a better desk drawer secret.
Made by Hannah's without gelatine, suitable for vegetarians. Contains milk, soya and hazelnuts (tree nuts). May contain traces of peanuts.
