What it is
A gummy egg shape with a soft jelly yolk inside rather than on top, so it bursts slightly.
Taste

Where it comes from
The fried egg is a classic novelty shape and the filled version is a modern refinement, using co extrusion to put the yolk inside rather than depositing it on the surface. It is one of the harder shapes to make well.
What it's made of
Glucose syrup, sugar and gelatine with citric and lactic acid, invert sugar syrup and pectin, co extruded with a filling and glazed with carnauba wax and beeswax.
