What it is
A gummy bear with a soft fruit filling inside, so it gives twice. Sweeter and juicier than a standard bear.

Where it comes from
Filled gummies arrived with co extrusion technology and gave manufacturers a way to differentiate a shape that every competitor already made. The filled bear is the most common of them, and in Europe it is often sold as a juice filled bear because the centre carries fruit juice.
What it's made of
A gum shell co extruded around a softer centre set with pectin, cut and dried. Pectin is used in the filling because it sets soft and stays soft.
