Watermelon Slices are the sweet that looks like the fruit and, somehow, tastes more like it than the fruit does. A soft, chewy jelly with a big juicy watermelon flavour, shaped into little wedges with a green rind and a red middle, then rolled in a sour sugar coat that gives every bite a sharp start before the sweetness takes over.
The texture is the good kind of chewy: soft enough to bite clean through, firm enough to hold the shape and the sugar. The sour coat isn't face-twisting sour, just enough to make you want the next one straight away.
They're our best selling fruit jelly and the first thing to disappear from any summer mix. Put them with Mini Watermelon Slices and Sour Watermelon Bears for a full watermelon bag, or use them to brighten up a gummy pouch.
