Vanilla Fudge

Start with the one that everything else is measured against. Vanilla Fudge is smooth, dense and creamy, a pale golden cube that softens the moment it hits your tongue and leaves a warm vanilla sweetness behind. There's nothing to it, and that's the whole point.

This one comes from Cloetta, the Scandinavian confectioner behind a fair few sweets you already know, and it's a traditional condensed milk recipe rather than a soya base. That's why it's richer and more melting than the fancier flavours.

It goes with everything. Clotted Cream Fudge and Salted Caramel Fudge for a traditional trio, Vanilla Chocolate Fudge for contrast. If someone says they don't like fudge, give them this first.

Made without gelatine, suitable for vegetarians. Contains milk and soya. May contain traces of tree nuts. Contains the colours E122, E102 and E110, which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children.

Standard delivery is £3.99 and is free on orders over £50. It usually takes 2 to 3 working days from dispatch.

Express delivery is £5.99 for next working day delivery when you order before 2pm Monday to Friday. Orders placed after 2pm or at weekends are dispatched the next working day. The Highlands and islands can take a little longer.

Sealed sweets can be returned unopened within 14 days.
