Some sweets don't need a gimmick, and this is one of them. Clotted Cream Fudge is the pale, smooth, old fashioned kind you'd find in a seaside sweet shop, and it does exactly one thing: melts the second it touches your tongue and leaves a rich, milky sweetness behind.
It's made by Stockley's, a British confectioner with a long history of doing things the traditional way, and there's real clotted cream in the recipe (4%) alongside condensed milk and fondant. That's why it's so soft and why it tastes the way it does, rather than tasting of a flavouring bottle.
Pair it with Salted Caramel Fudge and Vanilla Fudge for a classic trio, or set it against Strawberry & Cream Fudge for a fudge take on a summer pudding. It's also the one to send to a grandparent who says modern sweets are too clever.
Made without gelatine, suitable for vegetarians. Contains milk and soya. May contain traces of nuts and peanuts.
Keep somewhere cool and dry, and enjoy within a few weeks of opening.
