American grape is its own flavour. Not the dark, slightly bitter grape of a wine gum, but the sweet, bright purple grape of a soda, and Taffy Town Grape is exactly that in a soft, pillowy salt water taffy. It gives the moment you bite and melts down slowly with a long fruity finish.
It's the genuine US made version from Taffy Town, a family run taffy maker going since 1917. They whip egg white into the batch so the taffy is airy rather than dense, and the pinch of sea salt is where salt water taffy gets its name.
Pair it with Taffy Town Cotton Candy for a fairground taffy pair, Jelly Belly Grape for grape in two textures, or Airheads Mini Assorted for a firmer chew.
Made without gelatine, suitable for vegetarians. Contains milk and egg. Contains the colour E129, which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children.
