Strawberry and Crème is the sweet that tastes of a summer pudding. A soft, flat, slightly crumbly sweet, pink on one side and cream on the other, with a sweet strawberry flavour and a milky, creamy finish that comes from actual whey powder in the recipe. It melts more than it chews.
This isn't a jelly or a gummy at all. It's a soft pressed sweet made on a palm fat and wheat flour base with milk, natural flavourings and carmine for the pink, which is why the texture is so different from everything else on this page. Think a soft, creamy fondant rather than anything bouncy.
Pair it with Raspberry Twist Kisses and Strawberry Whips for a pink and white bag, or with Milk Bottles for a creamy retro mix. One for the soft sweet crowd.
