Size matters with gummies, and Giant Strawberries know it. Each one is a chunky red strawberry with a green top, soft enough to bite clean through, and the sweet strawberry flavour comes on straight away rather than making you work for it. A soft, slightly dense chew that lasts.
Made by Kingsway as part of their vegan range, so there's no gelatine in the recipe. The red comes from black carrot and the green from spirulina and safflower, all plant based, which is why the colours look a touch more muted than a neon sweet. That's a good sign, not a flaw.
They're the centrepiece of a strawberry bag alongside Jelly Filled Strawberries and Strawberry Wheels, and they hold their own in any vegan mix with Funky Fruits or Meerkats.
