Mini Fizzy Strawberries are little red strawberry shapes with a green leaf, a firm chew and a fizzy sour sugar that fizzes on your tongue before the strawberry flavour comes through sweet and simple. Each one is a single mouthful, which is the problem.
Kingsway make these, and the red is a proper deep strawberry red rather than a pink. The fizz is a light one, more tingle than sting, so they suit people who like the idea of sour sweets but not the wince.
They're the small end of the strawberry line: put them with Sugar Coated Strawberries and Giant Strawberries for three sizes of the same idea, or with Fizzy Strawberries for a fully fizzy version. Useful for topping a cake or filling a sweet cone.
Contains beef gelatine, so not suitable for vegetarians.
