A heart with a sour coat and a soft centre is a fairly accurate sweet. Sour Raspberry Filled Hearts are plump blue gummy hearts with a light sour sugar on the outside and a liquid raspberry filling inside, so the first bite is sharp and the second is a sweet, juicy rush. The gummy is soft and tender.
They're made by Damel, who specialise in filled sweets, and the filling is what makes them. It's proper liquid rather than a soft paste, so you get that burst every time. The heart shape is neat and the blue is the bright blue raspberry kind.
Obvious for Valentine's, but they work all year. Pair them with Gummy Hearts and Triple Layer Love Hearts for a heart themed jar, or Filled Bears if you're building a bag around the liquid centre idea.
Contains gelatine, so not suitable for vegetarians.
