Blackberry & Raspberries are small, bumpy berry shapes in a deep red and a purple so dark it's nearly black, with a soft, slightly dense jelly chew and a rich berry flavour that sits between jammy and sharp. They taste more of fruit than sugar, which is rarer than it sounds.
The red comes from carmine and the dark from vegetable carbon, with a coconut oil glaze that keeps them from sticking. They're a pork gelatine jelly set on maize starch, so the chew is smooth and a little firmer than a bouncy gummy.
They pair with Blackcurrant and Raspberries and Juicy Berries for a bag that's all berries, or with Bunch of Grapes for a purple theme. A good pick for someone who says they don't really like sweets.
