Blackcurrant and Raspberries are the sweet that looks like a bramble. Little bumpy berry shapes, half of them deep purple and half red, with a soft jelly chew and a sweet berry flavour that has just enough tang to stop it being one note. Pectin in the set gives them a cleaner bite than a plain gummy.
The colours are a mix of carmine for the red and vegetable carbon for the dark purple, with safflower, carrot and elderberry concentrates behind them, and there's a touch of olive oil in the glaze. A pork gelatine jelly, soft and glossy.
They sit with Blackberry & Raspberries and Juicy Berries in a purple bag, or with Blackcurrant Pencil for something with a bit more chew. A good sweet for someone who finds most pick n mix too sugary.
Contains pork gelatine, so not suitable for vegetarians.
