Sherbet Strawberries

Bite one of our Sherbet Strawberries too early and you miss the point. Let the hard red shell wear down and the sherbet inside comes out in a fizzy rush, sharp and sweet at once, and suddenly the strawberry flavour has a kick to it. Patience is rewarded. Crunching works too, but less so.

They are made by Stockley's, whose sherbet filled boiled sweets have been a sweet shop staple for decades. The fizz comes from citric and malic acids with a pinch of bicarbonate.

They belong next to Sherbet Lemons and Sherbet Fruits for a fully fizzy bag, and they look lovely with Rosy Apples in a red retro mix. One for the cinema, a party bag, or the sweet jar at work.

Made with vegan ingredients and no gelatine. Contains the colour E122, which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children.

Express delivery is £5.99 for next working day delivery when you order before 2pm Monday to Friday. Orders placed after 2pm or at weekends are dispatched the next working day. The Highlands and islands can take a little longer.

Sealed sweets can be returned unopened within 14 days.
