Mince pies used to have actual meat in them, so a fudge version is hardly the strangest thing that's happened to them. Mince Pie Fudge is a soft, creamy, pale brown cube with a warm mixed spice flavour and whole raisins folded through it for a plump, chewy bite here and there.
It's made on a traditional sweetened condensed milk recipe rather than a soya base, so it's richer and more melting than most of the range, and the raisins are real fruit rather than a flavouring. Mincemeat without the suet, or the argument about the star on the lid.
Built for a Christmas tin with Gingerbread Latte Fudge and White Choc Cranberry Ripple Fudge, or with Chocolate Orange Fudge for the full stocking. For people who start on mince pies in October.
Made without gelatine, suitable for vegetarians. Contains milk and soya. May contain traces of tree nuts.
