Not everyone likes liquorice, and Liquorice Gums are not trying to change their mind. These are firm, glossy black gums with a rich, rounded liquorice flavour, the kind that starts sweet and finishes with that dark, faintly aniseed depth. A long, slow chew that rewards patience.
Lion make them, and they use real liquorice extract with vegetable carbon for the colour. No fake aniseed shortcut. That's why the flavour has some weight to it.
They're built for a traditional mix with Liquorice Wheels, Black Jacks and Liquorice Toffee, and they're the sweet you give to the person who says modern sweets are too sweet. Keep a bag in the car for long drives.
