Cake or biscuit? A tax tribunal spent 1991 arguing about it. We went with fudge. Orange Sponge Fudge is a soft, zesty orange fudge with a crumb of real wholemeal biscuit through it and a thin dark chocolate coating on top: sponge, orange, chocolate, in the right order.
The Fudge Factory make it on their soya base, though the biscuit contains whey, so there is milk in it. The orange is jammy rather than bitter, and the dark chocolate gives it the snap the original is famous for.
Pair it with Chocolate Orange Fudge for a double orange box, or with Jam and Biscuit Fudge for the biscuit tin crowd.
Made on a soya base and without gelatine, so suitable for vegetarians. Contains wheat and oats (gluten), milk and soya. May contain traces of nuts and peanuts. Contains the colours E102 and E110, which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children.
