Gold Bears are the gummy bear every other gummy bear is copying. Haribo have been making them since the 1920s and the chew is still the thing: firm at first, then a slow, satisfying give, with a clean fruit flavour that comes from real juice rather than just colouring.
Six flavours in the bag: pineapple (the clear one, and the most argued about), strawberry, raspberry, orange, lemon and apple. Made with fruit juice and plant concentrates for the colours, so the shades are softer than you'd expect from a gummy this famous.
They go in everything. A handful in a gummy mix with Twin Cherries and Happy Cola Bottles, a scoop in a movie night pouch, or a bag of their own for the car. If you're building a mix for someone and you're not sure what they like, start here. Nobody has ever sent Gold Bears back.
