They're made by Walker's Nonsuch, who have been making toffee since 1894, and every one is twist wrapped in red foil. The dark chocolate is 16% of the sweet, with a minimum of 70% cocoa solids, and the toffee underneath is made on condensed milk and butter with a touch of molasses.
They're the grown up end of a toffee selection. Put them next to Milk Chocolate Covered Toffee to taste milk against dark, or add Salted Caramel Toffee and Dark Chocolate Caramels for a bag that leans rich.
