Cherry Bon Bons are the grown up ones in the jar. Same soft, dense, sugar dusted chew as the rest of the family, but with a rounder, slightly darker cherry flavour that tastes more like the fruit than the cough sweet. The sugar coat melts off first, then the chew stretches, then the cherry lingers.
Made by Kingsway as part of their veggie bonbon range. The flavouring is natural and the red comes from black carrot rather than a synthetic dye, which is why it's a deep, warm red instead of a bright pillar box one.
They're an easy pick for a red mix, and they sit well in a bonbon jar with Strawberry Bon Bons, Blue Raspberry Bon Bons and Bubblegum Bon Bons. Very good in a Christmas tin too.
