Where it comes from
Salt water taffy is an American seaside sweet, first sold on the boardwalk at Atlantic City in the 1880s. Taffy Town has made it in Salt Lake City, Utah since 1917, and the two fruit blends like this one came later as the flavour list grew into the dozens.
What it's made of
Corn syrup, sugar and coconut oil with sea salt, egg whites and evaporated milk, whipped until airy, with malic acid, flavouring and the colours E129 and E102.
