What it is

Where it comes from
One of a family of sour sugared wine gums that fill a whole section of the Swedish pick and mix wall, each in a single fruit flavour. Blackcurrant, svarta vinbär in Swedish, grows well in the cool north and is a garden staple there.
What it's made of
Glucose syrup, sugar and maize starch with acids (citric acid, malic acid), acidity regulators (sodium malates, sodium citrates), colour (concentrates of carrot and blackcurrant), natural flavouring and wheat starch.
