Where it comes from
Gummy Clusters launched in the United States in 2021 and became a global phenomenon through social media, where the crunch is as much of the appeal as the taste. Demand outstripped supply in Britain for over a year, with imported boxes selling at several times their American price.
What it's made of
A gummy centre is tumbled in a pan while Nerds are added, so the crystals stick all over the surface. The same panning principle as a jelly bean, but with sweets instead of sugar syrup.
