Where it comes from
Mike and Ike were launched by Just Born in Pennsylvania in 1940. Nobody at the company has ever settled who Mike and Ike were, and the firm has leaned into the mystery ever since, including a marketing campaign built entirely around the two falling out.
What it's made of
Sugar, corn syrup and modified starch chews flavoured with fruit, then panned with a thin shell and polished with carnauba wax and confectioner's glaze.
