Taste

Where it comes from
Blue joined M&M's in 1995 after a public vote in which ten million people chose between blue, pink and purple. Blue won comfortably, replacing tan, and Mars marked the launch with a Times Square event. It remains the most successful piece of confectionery marketing of the decade.
What it's made of
Milk chocolate centres panned with sugar and coloured with brilliant blue, polished with carnauba wax.
