Where it comes from
Green M&M's have been the subject of an American urban myth since the 1970s claiming they are an aphrodisiac, a rumour with no basis whatsoever that Mars eventually leaned into by giving the green one a character in its advertising. It remains one of the most persistent sweet myths there is.
What it's made of
Milk chocolate centres panned with sugar and coloured green, polished and printed.
