Reformatting an established flavour into a new texture is one of the cheapest ways to launch a product, since the flavour does the selling. Fruit Salad has been a British institution since the 1920s, which makes it an obvious candidate.
What it's made of
Glucose syrup, sugar and modified maize starch set with pork gelatine, flavoured with raspberry and pineapple, coloured with curcumin, carmine and vegetable carbon.
