What it is
Soft sugared gummy trees in red and green, with strawberry and apple flavours.
Taste
Where it comes from
A Christmas gummy in a seasonal mould and colours. The decorated tree itself became a British habit after 1848, when the Illustrated London News printed a picture of Queen Victoria, Prince Albert and their children standing round one.
What it's made of
Glucose syrup, sugar and corn starch with gelatine (beef), humectant (glycerol), acids (citric acid, malic acid), plant, vegetable and fruit concentrates (safflower, spirulina, radish, blackcurrant, carrot), gelling agent (pectins), flavourings and colour (E120).
